Monthly Department Meeting

Old Business

• Station painting: Completed last week. Looks great. Thanks to the volunteers who helped.
• SCBA fit testing: All personnel current as of Feb 15.

New Business

Budget Update (Chief Morrison)

• FY2026 budget approved with 5% increase
• New thermal imaging camera approved ($12,500)
• Two sets of structural PPE ordered (delivery 4-6 weeks)

Training (Lt. Walsh)

• Q1 training schedule distributed
• Hazmat refresher mandatory for all — March 20
• State academy slots available for Advanced Tactics (May)

Operations (Capt. Rodriguez)

• Engine 1 due for pump test next month
• New radio frequencies going live March 1 — programming in progress
• Reminder: apparatus check sheets must be completed daily

Social Committee (Lt. Walsh)

• Annual BBQ scheduled for April 12
• Volunteers needed for community open house planning

• Union meeting next Tuesday at 1900
• FF Washington completing probationary period in April
