Updated PPE Inspection Policy — Effective August 1

The department has updated the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inspection policy effective August 1.
Key Changes
- Monthly self-inspections are now mandatory (previously quarterly)
- New checklist form available in the Documents section
- Digital submission required — paper forms will no longer be accepted
- Defective gear must be reported within 24 hours of discovery
Training
A refresher session will be held during next week's drill. Attendance is mandatory for all personnel.
